Reflection Term 3 Week 2

This week i have layed another 4 or 5 boards on Monday i still haven't had the chance to lay mine yet. i hope to lay it on Thursday. Sam and i and a few others are the only ones left to lay our boards.

Next week i hope to lay my board if not on Thursday adn i want to pay more attention on my blog because i dont want to fall behind

Reflection Term 3 Week 1

This week I helped to put down 5 boards into molds on Monday which we will pull out on Thursday and lay down some more boards. Today I am in the com labs to work on my blog and solid works designs. I hope to put down my board on Monday

On Monday i will help to put some more down in their molds. Terry wants all the class to have cast their boards in their molds before we cut the out because we need to use the wood work room to cut them.

Reflection Term 2 Week 10

Monday i did work on my mold. We changed how we did the boards to ply, fiberglass/epoxy, ply, fiberglass/epoxy, ply instead of ply, fiberglass/epoxy, flax, fiberglass/epoxy, ply. Then on Wednesday we did some strength test on the board and broke it and came to the conclusion that it was to thick and had not been in the mold for long enough. We did the testing on Wednesday after school because we were helping Terry out with the school open evening.

Next term i hope to lay down a board. To design and cut out my trucks . To draw my final solid works design. to design and cut out my stencil. I think i should also pay more attention to my blog next term then I have this term.

Reflection Term 2 Week 9

This week on Monday I did a job for Terry. The job was to fix a PA system on which the Tweeters had blown in the Music evening last week. On Wednesday I Had a com lab session in which I guess a mainly messed around on. On Thursday I helped Tom lay his board in the mold We did this by Laying down a layer of 4mm ply wood then a fiber glass and Epoxy Resin followed by the flax stringer and ten more fiberglass, Epoxy and plywood.

I will have to finish off my check list before the holidays.

Reflection Term 2 Week 8

I haven't keep up to date with my Reflections so i can't remember what i did this week but in futre i will try and do them every Wednesday
